How to get alot of money To get money, the quickest and easiest way is to do races. If you win, you get some money. Do lots of things throughout the day, and at the end of the day you are awarded with money. Having more horses, means spending more money. You have to buy food, saddles, and you have to make sure customers come! Having more horses is actually a good thing, besides buying the food and tack.
If customers come, they will pay you to ride your horses! Also, go to foal training to earn some money, fast. Hope I helped! Kat, Apr 8, 2012.
Being a horse lover, I own a few games and I had currently got Gallop & Ride. This is by far a great game. Excellent graphics and sound-details that MOST games miss.
Mainly the goal of the game? Earn money, raise, breed horses and get the ranch back to life again. Below, I've written Tips/Instructions/Guide to playing the game. Mind you, the pamphlet that comes with the game should explain most of this as well. In the game for activities/jobs, there is: 1) Foal Training. This happens in the riding arena.
Trying to understand what your supposed to do is quite puzzling and I admit it took me a day or two to finally understand. It goes like this: there are 3 rings.
A checkpoint (which would be a white square) and a horse symbol (which tells you where your foal is)The goal? Get your foal to the checkpoint where ever it is in one of the 3 circles. There are 2 speeds: walk and trot. How you get the foal going? Well, there should be instructions when you start. Once you get the foal to the checkpoint, it's important to give the foal a carrot so that they learn that obeying you is good and rewarding.
But, if you miss a check point, it'll get harder to control the foal. How do you get credits?
Get all the check points. It's okay for 1 or 2 errors. This would be in the windmill (across the bridge) It's easy to get how to massage the horse. But there'll be a picture of a horse near the screen with red areas that you'd need to massage. This earns you credits/money. But there are some with TIME limits. You don't finish in time, you don't get credits. This is beside the building where you massage.
To breed, you can either: breed a foal of your own or for a client. But know, that you must have at least a horse in the stable that has trust and is in good health to do this. If you choose to breed for a client, you must try to match the breed/color/pattern they want. Mind you, there is a time limit and if you don't get it in time, the breeder/vet will leave. There are 3 areas with 3 races. To get into a race, you first should train your horse to the point where it'll be ready for that certain race.
My Horse And Me
5) Training Your Horse. To train your horse, you'd need to go to one of the areas (where you go up to the gate)and jump your horse over jump obstacles. Also, galloping gives your horse strength. How to get credits: There are no cheats to this game. I've looked and even tried, but there isn't.
So, you have to earn them. With each activity listed above you can earn credits. Get Bonus Credits: You'll find these in the riding areas. They're golden horse shoes. It ranges from 5,10 to even 100. Getting buildings: (riding arena, windmill/massage, breeding barn/guest house) You work your way up by the star ratings.
There's 2, 3, and 4. The pamphlet should tell you what you can do to achieve each star.
Tips: I found that there are ways of getting money without spending it. 1) Keep horses in pasture. Just make sure to check on them. This prevents you from having to spend money on feed by keeping them in the stable all the time. 2) Pace yourself!!! Don't rush yourself to get everything.
That will put some pressure on yourself. TAKE YOUR TIME. 3) Don't upgrade the guesthouse until you are READY.
4) To get the best horses: Breed 'em! Use one of your horses (or buy one).
I bought a few and just used them for breeding a foal of my choice. And breed them to a stud then Ta-Da a foal. Train them, don't sell them. But of course, this takes time. Mind you, be sure that you have room in your stable!
5) Stock up on carrots! 6) If you want to make a lot of money. Train foals, massage horses everyday.
Make a schedule, and follow it. I had already made around $15,629 in a couple of weeks. 7) Train your horse for the race(s)!
If you wish, don't buy/upgrade the stable and focus on training your horse. But mind you, don't over do it. You don't want to end up broke or your horse ill/stressed. Basically, Take your time!!!! Don't rush the game.
If you pace yourself, you'll end up with fantastic horses and A LOT of credits (money). I'd rate this game 10/10. Its both challenging, and great to play. What ages should play? I'd suggest 11 or up. Comments for Gallop & Ride!
Average Rating. Nov 30, 2015 Rating Foal Training by: Anonymous I had the biggest issue with foal training. The carrots are for when you miss a mark! You don't just give them carrots because if you notice once you miss a mark you have to rein in the rope 2x to get them to listen. If you pay attention to the horse meter it goes from green to yellow to red.
This is the horses temperament. The carrots are the only thing that will stop this!
I wish there was a game guide and I guess I could make one. The best thing to say about how to use the controls is to hold onto the nunchuck and the Wii remote straight up. Go left or right to turn the horses and to make them go and stop. To move the foals while holding the Wii-mote straight up tap in forward down or back into you (be careful not to smack yourself in the face.
If you seriously hold the remote straight up like this a where the buttons are facing you, you will find it a lot easier to understand the directions from there. Like I said hold it straight and swing it left or right to get the foal moving or stop.
Sling it front to back to get it to move along the 3 areas depending on where you need it to be. You don't need to have the foal perfectly in the square lines just enough to where it registers! Hope this helps! Remember to stock up on carrots and save them if you miss the mark! This is the only way to get the foal back under control. Notice the green bar will turn yellow the first time you miss (the foal will need 2 pulls of the reigns to control instead of 1) the red mark is almost impossible to control at this point. You need the carrots for this!
If you have any questions please feel free to comment here. I am making a guide for the game since I cannot seem to find one anywhere.
I need to figure out where all the gold horseshoes are. Also, when you get these you notice you have money and bonus points (Do not spend these on the clothing items first- get the horses that are listed in the bonus point area first! You will have to choose as there are not enough bonus points to get everything from what I have gathered from other players). Have fun galloping! Reply from Sydney at HorseCrazyGirls.com This is super helpful! Thank you so much for sharing it and we'll all look forward to more tips.
Sep 03, 2015 Rating An Easier Start by: Horserider79 There's actually one thing that is kind of a cheat that I stumbled on by mistake. Instead of starting right away with the first task of getting your horse and taking it to the barn go straight to bed and end of the day. Everyday you do this you get $50. Do this repeatedly until you get up to $450.
Do not go any further than $450. Also do not upgrade your riding home. Instead use this time to do some major shopping using this method repeatedly you can get all of the saddles and horse equipment all of the rider clothing and all horse feed and supplements and medicines. Everything else must be earned within the game by leveling up for earning Horseshoe. Jun 30, 2015 Rating Best Game by: Anonymous This game is truly amazing!
I love horses ( I ride them a lot as well) and I can tell good graphics from bad! This game is a must have! It has the most realistic, well, everything!
My favorite part is that is not all about riding and grooming! It gives you all the responsibilities of real horse owning! If you don't properly take care and feed of your horse it gets ill and you have to pay vet and vaccines. If you don't practice with your horse it also becomes ill and you will not be able to show, and also it has financial businesses meaning you have to work for your money and for your horses! You need to feed them 2 times a day, if do not fed they also become ill! It's a long game but a very amazing and interactive game! I highly suggest it!
Jul 03, 2014 Rating Really good game but is similar to another game by: Zoe This game is My Riding Stable 2, which if I remember correctly was one of the best horse games I've ever played, and by far the most realistic. I am not sure which game came first, but it is identical to My Riding Stable 2. What would make the game better is if it had show jumping, dressage, and eventing for those English Riders. But that's not too important I suppose. I am going to get this game this Sunday which I'm excited about. I do recommend this game, and if you have no wii, then get Riding Stables 2 (keep in mind that's a pc only game).
Feb 03, 2014 Rating BEST GAME EVER!!!!! $$$WORTH THE MONEY$$$ by: Flicka&Fosta@Heartland14519 Hey guys! I got this game about a year ago and I've loved it ever since!! I'm a teen and have always wanted to own a horse, but can't:( Gallop&Ride! Is the BEST of the BEST horse Wii games out there! I 100% recommend this horse Wii game to ANYONE out there that is a horse lover like me:) I LOVE that this game is VERY realistic; the horses and riding is VERY realistic!! I myself, have 8 horses (sold the 9th one) named David, July, Rosy, Pepper, Champane, Toffee, Molly (my 1st horse on the game), and Jessie.
The foal training is a little bit hard at first, but once you get the hang of it it's SO easy!! I practically feel as though I really do have 8 horses in real life (even though it's a game). For those of you that do not know if you should get this game, GET IT!! I promise you that this Wii game is AWESOME!!! Thanks for reading:) Happy Riding, - Flicka&Fosta@Heartland14519. Dec 01, 2013 Rating Fun at first, but.
By: Anonymous I got this game for my birthday, an It was really fun at first. It is really lifelike in graphics and you have to take care it like a real horse. The only thing is the foal training is ridiculously hard! I am broke in the game and need some coins, but the foals will not respond to anything!
I stopped playing because I cannot advance in the game because of this issue, so now I play Horse Life Adventures. It's way more fun and it even has real competitions.
Oct 18, 2013 Rating Here is a useful cheat that I found. By: horserider79 Here is a little tip to help you get a good start in the game that I found by mistake.
At the start of the game do not do the following things this will allow you to get almost everything from the shop and will give you an excellent start. DO NOT: buy another horse, upgrade any buildings, or take the amount of money that you have over $495. (Going over 495 at any time or doing any of these thins at the beginning of the game will stop the cheat from working.
Do not get your horse from the pasture he will be fine, I promise. Instead go to bed or end the day until you have 450.
The amount of money that you get each time goes up by 50 each time you do this. Go to the computer in your living room and start shopping for everything that can be purchased without going to star level one. (Remember do not no matter how tempting it is buy another horse.) repeat the process listed above until you have everything accept for the horse, and any books and the hose that you can not buy until you level up. Once you have everything that you can get then do the same thing until you get all of the money that you can. After that you can upgrade your riding hall to train young foals. To get a second horse ride your first horse in the fields over the jumps and collect the horse shoes to earn points. You can then go into the shop and buy your second horse.
And continue on the game. Hope this helps. Jun 15, 2013 Rating Really fun, kinda hard. By: 2-Bits This game is good to great. I wouldn't say it's perfect.
The foal training is hard, but once you get used to it, it's easier. I don't like how you can't put your horses blanket on whenever, cause I spent money on multiple horse blankets. When you have six(or more) horses, hoof picking is sooooo tiring. The guests will ride your horses and you sometimes have to h.p again. Another thing, if you put your horses to pasture overnight after you've ridden it, it will still have the same amount of energy as it did after you rode it.
Oh, tip, if your having trouble riding with the riding thing where u have to jerk the remote to your left or right, switch to the mode where you control with the control stick.(Nun-chuck.) Sometimes, i have a day where i don't book any guests, maybe one. Program keyless entry 2000 ford expedition. Question: How long is the game?
Any answers would be accepted. This game is long and challenging. It's kinda like the work you'd be doing if you owned a horse farm. That selling horses would be okay, too.
This game is a great game. (You won't beat it in a day) I also wish that you could do cross.country, show jumping, and dressage. Not just trails. I would recommend it to girls (and boys) ages 7- above.
Really fun kinda hard. You should so get it. I got mine for Christmas.
BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):):):):D:D:D:D:D:O:O:O Umm, horse name tips? Jazzy, Missy, Victory, Giggllo, Major, Promise, Azzy, Sketch, Dancer, Orb(The Kentucky Derby 2013 winner,) Magic, Pancake, Flapjack, Perinporth, Red, Blackberry, Saffron, Raspberry. (Some of these are from girls on H.C.G.). Oct 14, 2012 Rating Update/Check In by: Anna I haven't checked out this page in quite a long time and thought I would.
I'm Glad that my review helped a lot of girls enjoy the game. I wish though I had written down more Foal training Info. It really is the hardest to do, but it takes skill and patience. If you play it on Wii, the trick is to flick your wrist in the correct timing, and get your foal to the checkpoint in the correct circle and STOP in the circle.
I noticed quite a few asked where to get it. Well, In canada where I live, you can go to pawn stores, Walmart game bins or any store that sells video games. Then again, it depends on what GAME SYSTEM you have. Many thank you for the complements!!! ^^ I no longer have the game, but I'd get it again if I had a Wii =).
Jun 08, 2012 Rating $$$ ITS WORTH THE MONEY $$$$ by: Anonymous T this game is amazing! I strongly recommend playing this game! I'm 16 years old and have been playing this game for about 2 years and it has never gotten old!
U can have up to 9 horses and you constantly have stuff to do like riding your horses when ever you want to, massaging horses for money breeding horses(including your own) and even training baby horses! You also run the farm and will have people come by hoping to stay!
This game is AMAZING! IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!
Apr 06, 2012 Rating My Fave Wii Game:D by: Rah Most horsey video games are unrealistic and childish. I'm 13, and unfortunately don't have a horse, so I want realism! I want a game that'll make me feel like I actually have a horse. This is probably the most realistic I've seen.
You start out with one horse and a stable yard, and grow as you earn money and build up your farm. You can open up a guest house/hotel thing and your guests can on your horses. You can pick a stallion and mare and it shows you what the foal will look like, then your mare goes away to be bred and give birth, and you can work with the foal as it grows up!
When it's an adult, you get the choice of either selling it or keeping it. May 13, 2011 Rating AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By: I don't have a horse but love this game Hi This game is amazing grace the review that you did is amazing i just got this games yesterday it doesn't give you instructions were the stables are or where or horse is!
But overall this is a really good game i like that its realistic and hard cause it's so fun that you wanna persevere so i like it a lot and for all you hatters out their if you don't like contact the makers and if you have nothing nice to say don't say it cause it is hurtful to us people that like this game. May 01, 2011 Rating The Best So Far! By: Nicole As a horse lover, and owner along side being a horse game enthusiast, I have to say that I've ALWAYS wanted a game that allows me to design my own horse facility as well as breed, compete, and interact, etc. With my horses. Now, this game doesn't let you actually design your own stable, but its the closest so far to what I've been wanting in a horse game.
You get to own multiple horses and interact realistically with them like you have to in real life. The main aspect of this game that I absolutely hate, is when you compete, you do 'races' around the country side. They are pretty much cross country courses. But this is all that is offered as far as competitions go. I would have liked to see some realistic dressage, cross country, and show jumping. Jun 28, 2010 Rating Good game by: Anonymous Great review.
I bought this game for my six-year-old, and she enjoys it, but i have become addicted to it. However, I am really struggling with the foal taining.
I had two horses, but since I could not compete in the races I'd alreadt won with my first horse, I had to sell him. I am hoping to learn how to train foals so that I can make some money to build my therapy center and start earning that way. The foal training is the hardest part for me thus far.
